Today I’m here to tell you all about Ashtyn, the latest and greatest offering from Junebee Designs for Ink & Arrow Fabrics. I had the opportunity to sew with this line for my upcoming appearance on It’s Sew Easy TV, and while the episodes won’t air until December, the fabric ships out this month!
I immediately thought of all things fall when I first laid eyes on this line of gorgeous fabric! I love that it mimics the bold and warm colors that the trees display at this time of year. We’re hitting the peak for our leaf viewing here in Indiana, and it’s so fun to take a drive to take in the view!
I would have to say that the Jacobean print is my favorite from this line, with the Scroll print following closely in second. The colors are richly hued and the designs give lots of movement. You can make it as grown up or as kid-friendly as you want!
Speaking of movement, these two cuties had a hard time not twirling and playing during our photo shoot! Their big brothers are the best and oldest of friends, and it’s great to keep the friendship in the family!
Above is our pattern in dress length, with the bottom tier diced and spliced into a patchwork dream! I divided each panel from the tier into four sections, which is something you’ll get to see on my episode of It’s Sew Easy! This dress is great for layering with a tee, jacket, and leggings!
Don’t for get the boots!
Our sweet friend, Miss E, is sporting the with an extra wide hemband (due to a cutting error on my part), and of course, the iconic denim jacket. I love the solid skirt on the Stella, too, when you want to let the main print shine!
