Some of my first cuts of designer fabric were from Moda Fabrics, so they have always had a special place in my heart. One of my favorite fabric artists started designing for Moda, so I was absolutely ecstatic to get the chance to work with her line. has her hand in the fabric game again, and she’s teamed up with Jane Davidson to create Manderley. Their design team is called Franny & Jane, and their line hits stores this month!
I love the cranes on this print called Crane in Sky. It paired perfectly with Palace Floor in Honeydew for the bodice and Cream Chopsticks in Sky for the straps and hemband. There are also navys and pinks in coordinating prints and they are all gorgeous!
I hope you get a chance to sew with Manderley! It has that classic Moda softness and sews up so beautifully! Here I’ve used our to show off Manderley, but I’d love to hear what you would make! You can comment below with the project you feel would best fit these gorgeous prints.
